Is the LCD chip only available for fresh-frozen samples and not for FFPE samples?
Yes, currently only the FF V1.3 solution has the LCD format. LCD solution for FFPE samples will be available in Q3 of 2026.
Why are the RIN Value Requirements for Large Design higher (≥6) than the standard size (≥4)?
The recommended RIN value is derived from in-house tested results. Handling large tissue sections poses challenges during sample embedding and sectioning. A higher RNA transcript quality standard is therefore recommended for LCD.
Can we pool LCD libraries (1 cm × 2 cm, 2 cm × 2 cm, 2 cm × 3 cm) with regular Stereo-seq V1.3 libraries for sequencing?
Yes, the DNB libraries of V1.3 chips of different sizes can be pooled on the same FC for sequencing.
