Stereo-CITE FAQs
Stereo-CITE - Frequently Asked Questions
Can pre-mixed commercially available antibody cocktails be used?
Yes. Validated mouse panels include TotalSeq™-A Mouse Universal Cocktail V1.0 (Biolegend Cat. 199901, 119 antibodies) and TotalSeq™-A Human Universal Cocktail V1.0 (Biolegend Cat. 399907, 154 antibodies).
Can samples be fixed with PFA before OCT embedding?
Currently, the Stereo-CITE protocol is not compatible with PFA-fixed samples. It is only suitable for freshly embedded samples.
How many proteins can the product detect simultaneously?
The product supports three types of panels: (1) Commercial panels (TotalSeq™-A Mouse: 119 proteins; Human: 154 proteins, primarily cell surface proteins for immune typing); (2) Freely mixed TotalSeq™-A series antibodies; (3) Self-conjugated antibodies using the Stereo-seq self-conjugation kit with ADT oligonucleotides. The number of detectable proteins depends on the panel chosen.
